Laboratory
High quality slides are produced using the latest equipment from Leica and Milestone. We were the first installation of the Leica Spectra Stainer in Colorado with precision agitation to ensure even reagent distribution. Our Leica Bond Max allows for precise and timely immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining as well as multi-plexing of antibody combinations. All special stains and IHC antibody staining has been validated and verified independently for exceptional quality.
Dermatopathologists
Dr. Hilary Sillik is a board-certified in
dermatopathologist and pathologist.
She completed her medical degree and anatomic
and clinical pathology residency at the University of Colorado, followed by a
surgical pathology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She went on to
pursue a dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Colorado, where she
also began her academic career as a faculty member.
For the past six years, Dr.
Sillik has been an attending pathologist at Denver Health. Throughout her career
she has been actively involved in teaching and research.
She was recently named
as one of the 5280 Top Doctors for pathology.
